Terms of Service

Last updated: 29 July 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Ants — the website, the app builder, the hosting and backend services, and everything else we offer (together, the "Service"). Ants is operated by Core Engine IT Infrastructure LLC, a company registered in United Arab Emirates at Al Souq Al Kabeer, R118, 201-A-19, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (registration number 2647230, licence number 1526216) ("we", "us", "our").

By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind it, and "you" means that organisation.

2. The Service

Ants is being built as an AI coding agent: you describe what you want in plain language and the Service generates, edits, hosts and runs software on your behalf. Today this website offers accounts, a scripted preview of that builder, and the ability to send us feedback. Capabilities described elsewhere on the site are in development and are not commitments to deliver a feature, on a date or at all. Sections 8 and 9 apply once and to the extent the Service actually generates output for you.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country if that is higher, to use the Service. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. The Service is not directed at children.

4. Your account

Building with Ants requires an account. You must give accurate registration details and keep them current. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account and for keeping your credentials and passkeys secure. Tell us at [email protected] as soon as you suspect unauthorised access.

If your plan includes seats, you are responsible for the people you invite and for their compliance with these Terms.

5. Plans and billing

The Service is currently free and we take no payment. The plans and prices shown on the site describe what we intend to charge when paid plans open; they are indicative and may change before then, and nothing on this site is an offer to sell.

When paid plans do open, subscriptions will be billed in advance for each period and will renew automatically until cancelled, cancellation taking effect at the end of the current period. We will ask for your agreement and set out the price, the billing period and your cancellation and refund rights before taking any payment.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to:

  • break the law, infringe anyone's intellectual property, or violate anyone's privacy;
  • build or distribute malware, phishing pages, spam infrastructure, or tools designed to attack other systems;
  • generate or host sexual content involving minors, content that incites violence, or unlawful hate speech;
  • circumvent usage limits, resell raw model access, or use the Service to train a competing AI model;
  • probe, scan or overload our infrastructure, or interfere with anyone else's use of the Service.

We may suspend or remove content and accounts that breach this section, and we may report unlawful activity to the authorities.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the prompts, designs, data, code and other material you submit or connect to the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, transmit and process Your Content solely to operate, secure and improve the Service for you. You confirm that you have the rights necessary to grant that licence.

We do not send Your Content to an AI model provider and we do not use it to train AI models, our own or anyone else's. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it and what happens if that changes.

8. Generated output

Where the Service generates code or other output for you, then as between you and us you own that output and may use it commercially. Output is generated statistically from your prompts and may not be unique — other users may receive similar or identical output for similar prompts, and we make no claim of exclusivity on your behalf. AI-generated material may not qualify for copyright protection in every jurisdiction.

9. AI disclaimer

The Service is probabilistic. Generated code, configuration, text and images can be incomplete, insecure, factually wrong, or may unintentionally resemble existing material. You are responsible for reviewing, testing and securing anything the Service produces before you deploy it, publish it, or rely on it — particularly where money, personal data or safety are involved. Do not treat output as legal, financial, medical or other professional advice.

10. Third-party services

The Service runs on third-party providers — hosting, storage, email and, where you allow them, analytics and advertising — which are listed with their privacy policies in our Privacy Policy. If you sign in with Google or Apple, that provider's terms govern your use of your account with them. Where the Service later lets you connect your own integrations, the terms of those services apply to you in addition to these Terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, their availability or their content.

11. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and, on plans that include reserved capacity, we publish an uptime target. Except where a separate written service level agreement says otherwise, the Service is provided on a best-effort basis and we may perform maintenance, impose fair-use limits, or change or discontinue features at any time. The free plan carries no service level commitment.

12. Our intellectual property

We own the Service itself — the platform, its models and prompts, its underlying technology, its design, and the "Ants" name and marks. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of it to you beyond the rights you need to use the Service. You may not copy, reverse-engineer or create derivative works of the platform.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. On termination your right to use the Service ends immediately; we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export Your Content unless the law or a serious breach prevents it. Sections 7, 8, 9, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 survive termination.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ITS OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE OR FIT FOR YOUR PURPOSE.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, business or goodwill. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 100.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

16. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from Your Content, from the applications you build, deploy or distribute using the Service, or from your breach of these Terms or of applicable law.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates, as applicable in the Emirate of Dubai, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence and benefit from its mandatory consumer protection rules.

18. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will change the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, give notice in the product or by email before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

19. Contact

Questions about these Terms, copyright or other intellectual-property complaints, and abuse reports go to [email protected]. Please include enough detail to identify the material or account concerned. Postal address: Core Engine IT Infrastructure LLC, Al Souq Al Kabeer, R118, 201-A-19, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
